Wyeast PC Denny's Favorite 50 1450

This terrific all-round yeast can be used for almost any style beer and is a mainstay of one of our local homebrewers, Mr. Denny Conn. It is unique in that it produces a big mouthfeel and helps accentuate the malt, caramel, or fruit character of a beer without being sweet or under-attenuating.

Temperature Range: 60-70ﾰ F (15-21ﾰ C)
Alcohol Tolerance: approximately 10% ABV

Please note: We recommend liquid yeast be shipped using 2-day air with adequate ice packs (1-2 ice packs per vial, availablehere), especially during warmer months. To reduce shipping costs, customers should order yeast separately from other products a few days before planning to brew. This provides a chance to make a yeast starter to ensure a strong and healthy ferment. Having a backup yeast, whether liquid or dry, is always a good idea. A yeast starter will also confirm the viability of the yeast. If the yeast was damaged during shipping, we can replace a yeast that doesnﾒt start, but not a beer that does not ferment.
