Toadspit Stout
This recipe is taken from Charlie Papazianメs famous brewing bible. Black Patent and Crystal malt with Roasted barley combine with Willamette and Northern Brewer hops to form this bittersweet, full bodied dry stout.
1.075 OG, 59 IBU
Making a yeast starter (as described here) is suggested to ensure the best fermentation for this high gravity beer.
Recommended yeast:
Liquid: WLP001 California Ale Yeast
Dry: Safale US-05
