The long firm malt character of this India Pale starts with a caress of Crystal malt, with Light Wheat and CaraPils to round out the supple body. Prepare to be spanked by the heavy-handed Pacific Gem bitterness which mellows into a sweet embrace of herbal, woody hop flavor, climaxing in an explosion of hop bouquet. 1.060 OG, 105 IBU

This recipe requires dry hopping, which is the addition of hops to the fermented beer, usually in a secondary fermenter or keg. If you are unfamiliar with the process, consult a good home brewing book, we offer many in our store! If you do not wish to dry hop, you can add the hops at the end of the boil with any other aroma hops.

Recommended yeast:

Liquid: WLP001 California Ale Yeast

Dry: Safale US-05
