Organic Farmhouse Saison
The Wallonia region of Belgium is the birthplace of the Saison, or モseasonヤ ale style. Brewed to refresh the farmhands working the summer fields, Saisons were typically low in alcohol but safer and more sustaining than the often tainted water. Goldings and Spalt hops meld with Munich and Wheat malt to create a refreshing summer ale.

This recipe requires dry hopping, which is the addition of hops to the fermented beer, usually in a secondary fermenter or keg. If you are unfamiliar with the process, consult a good home brewing book, we offer many in our store! If you do not wish to dry hop, you can add the hops at the end of the boil with any other aroma hops.
