This hard hitting ale uses Crystal and CaraPils malts with a bit of Roasted barley to form a rich, auburn base, tempered by Cascade and Pacific Gem hops. With a bit of aging this will mellow into a robust brew to be savored sip after sip. ﾓIf you wanna run cool, you got to run it on heavy heavy fuel.ﾔ

Making a yeast starter (as described here) is suggested to ensure the best fermentation for this high gravity beer.

Recommended yeast:

Liquid: WLP001 California Ale Yeast

Dry: Safale US-05
