Hans and Franz Hefeweizen

This is a classic German style wheat beer with a yeast strain that will accentuate banana and clove notes. It is refreshing and crisp, with a sweet finish, using Crystal and Munich malt and Liberty hops.

1.045 OG, 25 IBU

It is highly recommended to use the liquid yeast strain suggested for this recipe in order to attain results appropriate to the style of beer.

Recommended yeast:

Liquid: Wyeast 3068 Weihenstephan Yeast  or 3638 Bavarian Wheat Yeast

Dry: Safbrew WB-06
