Clone: Old Rasputin Imperial Stout, North Coast Brewing

This is a perfectly balanced Imperial Stout. A blend of Crystal, Carastan, Brown, Chocolate and Black Patent malt make a rich, malty and robust beer, with a slight hint of fruit and nuts. Northern Brewer and Centennial hops complement the beerﾒs hearty body and flavor. This brew will warm even those with the coldest of hearts.

1.091 OG, 50 IBU

Making a yeast starter (as described here) is suggested to ensure the best fermentation for this high gravity beer.

Recommended yeast:

Liquid: WLP001 California Ale Yeast

Dry: Safale US-05
